My interest in photography has slowly evolved over the last seven years from when I purchased my first Canon DSLR camera in preparation for a holiday to Australia. During my time in Far North Queensland, the 2012 Solar Eclipse was best viewed from the town I was staying in and having taken a few photos, a couple became featured in the local newspaper.

From then on, I started to blend my interest of aviation and my evolving keenness to increase my photography skills and so could often be found alongside some of the perimeter roads around London Heathrow Airport. As aircraft, such as the Boeing 747-400 “Jumbo Jet” have retired, some of my images have become very desirable amongst aviation enthusiasts.

Normally leading a hectic lifestyle of work and business travel, 2020 has seen much of my travelling curtailed with the COVID-19 pandemic. During those lockdown months, I found myself mesmerised by local scenery within my village and began capturing some of it which, to my surprise, gained considerable enthusiasm from within my community to the extent some of my pictures were purchased in aid of our local hospital’s COVID appeal. This inspired me to upgrade my camera and I began venturing out to the coast at weekends with no particular brief in mind other than to capture the best of Suffolk in summer.

I’ve slowly built up a portfolio that I’ve become proud of but equally humbled by such kind and positive comments. From that came the question of “could I possibly buy some of your images?”. Never did I imagine that I was taking photos that were good enough that people would be prepared to pay for copies of them and so from that, I decided to showcase my portfolio through a new website.
